From wooden houses to a sustainable hotel in nature. This is the journey that Daniel Mayo Pardo, architect and founder of VIVOOD, has embarked on over the last five years. In 2013, he began an entrepreneurial project based on the design of sustainable, self-sufficient homes. After this stage, in 2015 together with a team architects, designers and tourism experts ,he made the leap to the hotel sector when he decided to design, build and manage VIVOOD, the first Landscape Hotel in Spain
The VIVOOD Landscape Hotel was born with the intention of creating and consolidating a new concept of sustainable accommodation, that is both respectful of and integrated into the environment, based on “perceptual luxury”.
In just three years since its opening, VIVOOD has received more than a fifteen national and international awards and recognitions in tourism, sustainability, architecture, design, and innovation.
The VIVOOD Hotel in Alicante marks the beginning of a network of Landscape Hotels. We are working on the conceptualisation of a new landscape hotel in order to expand this new concept of accommodation to other parts of Spain.
